About Ohio Valley Beagles
Ohio Valley Beagles is a dedicated animal rescue organization focused on beagles. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome beagles in need throughout Ohio and nearby areas, including Cincinnati. Our mission gives these loving dogs a second chance at happy lives with caring families.
We are a dedicated group of volunteers, foster families, and animal lovers committed to making a difference in the lives of beagles throughout Ohio and the surrounding regions.
Our Story
Ohio Valley Beagles was founded with a simple mission: to rescue beagles in need and find them loving, permanent homes. We recognized that many beagles face uncertain futures due to various circumstances, and we wanted to provide a solution.
We are a new rescue organization, just beginning our journey to help beagles throughout the Ohio Valley region. While we're still growing and building our network of volunteers, foster families, and supporters, our commitment to providing care and finding forever homes for every beagle in need remains unwavering. We're excited about the future and the lives we'll be able to touch as we continue to develop and expand our rescue efforts.
Our Mission
Rescuing, Rehabilitating, and Rehoming Beagles
We accomplish this through:
- Rescuing beagles from shelters, owner surrenders, and other at-risk situations
- Providing comprehensive medical care including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and treatment for any health issues
- Rehabilitating beagles with behavioral or medical needs
- Placing beagles in loving foster homes while they await adoption
- Carefully screening and matching adopters with beagles to ensure successful, lasting placements
- Providing ongoing support to adopters and their new family members

What Makes Beagles Special
