Genesy, affectionately known as Jesse, was rescued from a heartbreaking neglect case. She spent her early years kept outside on a chain and was used for breeding, with very little human contact or proper care. This isolation and lack of socialization left her fearful and uncertain around people.

When we rescued Jesse, she had hookworms that required treatment, but fortunately tested negative for Lyme disease. After receiving proper medical care and treatment, Jesse's health has improved significantly.

Since coming into our care, Jesse has been learning what it means to be a loved family dog. She's making progress in trusting humans and discovering the joy of gentle interactions, warm beds, and regular meals. While she's still gaining confidence, Jesse shows a gentle and sweet nature beneath her initial shyness.
